1.19.1975 aspires to be a distant and nostalgic momentum, result of many memories, either tangible and volatile, that the composer has of his childhood. This spirit is mainly present on the piano part, in which the mobile gestures work as an always changing canvas on which the flute tells a more eloquent but not definitive story. 1.19.1975 was commissioned by flutist Elizabeth Janzen.
